African Wildlife Safaris in Tanzania
Tanzania’s national parks are a wildlife paradise for huge concentrations of animals and birdlife. The Serengeti alone has nearly 2 million wildebeest and zebra which migrate along the pathway in search of food and rain, followed by the predators’ lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and jackal. The famous Ngorongoro Crater is a huge volcanic caldera where 25,000 animals live in a setting of unequalled grandeur. Also other national parks, like Lake Manyara National park is famous for tree climbing lions and pink flamingos. The Maasai tribe have populated this region for hundreds of years, and till now, they herd their livestock amongst the native African wildlife.
