4 Days Tanzania Budget Camping Safari (Mwanza to Arusha)

After breakfast Drive on a tarmac road from Mwanza to Ndabaka gate.

Explore the Western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural Habitats.

Get chance to pass at Grumeti River and Retima Hippo pool where Hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be found in abundance.

Further to Seronera area where these animals can be seen as you search for them, Leopard, Prides of Lion, Packs of Spotted Hyenas, the fleetest Cheetahs, and many plain animals like Buffaloes, Topi, Hartebeest, Wildebeest, Waterbucks, Elands, zebras, Gazelles, warthogs, just to name a few, and numerous number of Birds, more than 100 species can be observed in a day

Evening continue to the Camp for dinner and a good night.

You have full day in Serengeti ecosystem; you may start the day with early morning game drive at 6:00 am, breakfast afterwards.

Further game drives over the big Serengeti Park, the Rocks out crop commonly known as Kopjes, pronounced as copy which is Afrikaans language from South Africa meaning “The Spear Head”, harbors allot of animals. These Rocks are breeding sites for Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog. As you visit you’ll see Lions relaxing on top of the rocks, some which were given the name Simba Kopjes.

After enough gaming, drive back to the Camp site for lunch, after lunch take some rest till dawn, then go for sun set game drive, enjoying the sun sets of Serengeti also the best chance to spot nocturnal animals.

Afterwards, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Start this day with sun rise game drive at 6:00 am, afterwards, drive back to the lodge or camp for breakfast, after breakfast, leave Serengeti to Ngorongoro via southern Serengeti short grass plains, commonly known as the endless plains, it’s here where the name Serengeti was derived, a Maasai word meaning “The Endless Plains”

On the way to Ngorongoro crater you may opt to visit the Masai Village for cultural experience if you have enough time.

Proceed to the Crater and descend into this bowl like intact Caldera with 610 meters deep.

Many animals have made their home here, Black Rhino which is endangered animals, many carnivores and plain animals.

Evening ascend and drive to the place of your accommodation for your time for rest and a night stop.

Take leisure breakfast at the camp.

After Breakfast continue with the journey to Arusha through Ngorongoro Highland forest, the ever green forest all year round. Very important forest for Wildlife and Maasai cattle as it is used as a water catchment of the area. Down to karatu town, the small tourist town, you may stop there and buy some Curios along the way to Arusha,Driver to Arusha.
