Full Day Safari from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
You’ll depart from Arusha at the crack of dawn for a long but scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll pass Maasai villages and sweeping plains dotted with acacia trees and wildlife such as giraffes and wildebeest.
We will descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th natural wonder of the world and a unique caldera with the most abundant wildlife density in Africa. From the comfort of an open-top safari vehicle, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and, with luck, spot the legendary Big Five.
The crater hosts over 120 species of mammals, including endangered black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and leopards. You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, home to flamingos and other water birds, as well as pools filled with hippos and a rich variety of birdlife.
After an exciting morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories.
